The Aotearoa New Zealand Association for Biblical Studies (ANZABS) is the major association of biblical scholars in Aotearoa New Zealand.
The primary aim of ANZABS is to foster research and the critical exchange of ideas on biblical studies and cognate fields, among Aotearoa New Zealand-based scholars (including graduate students) and other visiting and invited biblical scholars.
ANZABS hosts an Annual Meeting, which usually takes place on Monday and Tuesday early in December. A Call for Papers for the Annual Meeting is sent out on the mailing list and issued on the ANZABS Facebook group. Annual membership of ANZABS is included with payment of annual conference fees.
